Michaela has been working for a while now at Eming and knows better than anyone what it is like to work in another country. She moved from the Czech Republic to the Netherlands and has been living here since 2017. During these years she also had the opportunity to gain a lot of experience in her profession, which suits her position at Eming. “It is an addition as a recruiter to know exactly how the process works. It is therefore very nice that I can arrange everything as well as possible for our candidates.”
At Eming… “I am a recruiter. This means that I am in daily contact with various candidates from all over the European Union whom I try to help find a good job. This way I have several job interviews in one day. If the candidate is suitable for the job, then I make sure that, together with my colleagues, everything is arranged properly. This, so that they can get off to a good start on their first day at work. I like the fact that I can really mean something for the candidate and to the client.
I think most people know that the time when candidates started flooding in is over. Despite that, I strive every day to find the candidates that fit the vacancies. We do this in a personal way with a lot of attention. Because of this attitude of mine, and my colleagues, we have made very good steps as a company, for both clients and candidates.”
The nicest thing about working at Eming… “is that we can work and think fast as a team and can therefore pick up more together. In our company we really do work together. This is not only visible among our colleagues in the office, but also among the colleagues who work for us. They themselves bring in new candidates, who also start working for us. When I see and hear that, I think that we as Eming are doing something very good. That’s what really makes me proud.”

What are you proud of? “On the personal appearance that we, as a company, radiate towards the candidates and clients and that we really ensure that everything is well arranged for them. This is important to me because I am a real people person. The fact that Eming really stands for this as a company makes me proud to work here.
I am also very proud when the candidates, as well as the clients, are satisfied with what we do for them. Ultimately, that is what we are working for.”
What would you still like to achieve? “I recently started studying HR management, at Saxion in Deventer. Through this study, I can look at Eming from a different perspective and support them in other areas in the future through my advice. In addition, if we continue to grow as we are now, I would like to transfer my knowledge to new recruiters in the future. I think it is not only very nice to share the knowledge with each other, but also by helping each other in this way and really creating something beautiful.”
The atmosphere within our team… “is very friendly. Initially, of course, it was a male team. So, I think the men had to get used to the fact that two female colleagues also came to work. But, as far as that goes, I think I have a well-fitting character as a person, I don’t let myself be fooled. Despite the jokes in between, I do notice that everyone is looking in the same direction and we all like to put our shoulders to the wheel. This makes it a very nice team to work with. The atmosphere is very good, there is enough energy in all of us! Like I said, it’s real teamwork.”
The future of Eming… “looks more than positive as far as I am concerned. We are currently in an upward trend and growing steadily. I think the best thing about Eming is that while we are growing, we are maintaining the quality. I think that is the strength of Eming, to be able to give that personal attention and to continue to strive for it. I really think that’s what sets us apart from others in the sector.”
What do you find relaxation in? “Normally, without the corona pandemic, I often go to the gym. I do kickboxing, which is something I can really go all out for. This is really a moment of relaxation for me. Now of course that is a bit less at the moment. So, I try to find other ways to clear my head. For example, by taking a walk or by spending time with my loved ones.
