Does Eming provide visa sponsorship?
No. Eming does not provide visa sponsorship and is not authorized to arrange work permits for candidates. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
Do I need Dutch health insurance?
Yes. If you work in the Netherlands, you are generally required to have Dutch health in-surance. If you are employed through Eming, we can arrange your health insurance for you. The premium will be paid on your behalf and deducted weekly from your salary.
Prefer to arrange your own Dutch health insurance?
In that case, no insurance costs will be deducted from your payslip. Please make sure your policy meets the Dutch legal requirements and provide us with proof of coverage.
2. Accommodation
Does Eming provide accommodation?
Yes. Eming provides accommodation following SNF standard for all employees that require one.
What is SNF standard of accommodation?
Our accommodation meets the SNF standard (Stichting Normering Flexwonen). This means the housing is regularly inspected and complies with requirements regarding safety, hygiene, privacy, living space, and facilities for international workers.
Most accommodations include:
- Furnished bedroom
- Shared kitchen and bathroom facilities
- Internet access
- Washing machine
- Basic household equipment
- Specific facilities may vary by location.

What if I do not need accommodation?
If you already have your own living space, then it is possible to stay there and discuss different rates.

What is EasyFlex?
EasyFlex is the employee portal used for administration related to your employment. You can access documents, payslips, annual statements, and other important information. You should also submit your weekly worked hours through this platform.
What if I forget my EasyFlex password?
If you have forgotten your EasyFlex password, simply click the “Forgot Password” option on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it. If you are unable to access your account or do not receive the password reset email, please contact our administration (+31 55 785 3029). We will be happy to assist you in regaining access to your EasyFlex account.

Can I edit my working hours in EasyFlex after submitting them?
No. Employees cannot independently change approved working hours. If you notice an error in your timesheet, contact your account manager or administration as soon as possible so the hours can be corrected if necessary.
Where can I find my payslips and annual statement?
Your payslips, annual statements, and employment documents are available through the EasyFlex portal.
4. Work & employment
Who is my contact person?
Your recruiter is your first point of contact during the recruitment process and will help you find a suitable job opportunity.
Once you start working, you will also be assigned to an account manager. They will assist you with work-related questions, accommodation, transport, and administrative mat-ters. Your account manager is familiar with your workplace and visits it regularly, usually once or twice a month.
During your first week, your account manager will also meet with you to provide your work clothes and help you with practical matters, such as submitting your working hours in EasyFlex.
How often will I be paid?
We pay salaries on a weekly basis. To ensure your payment is processed on time, you must submit your worked hours in EasyFlex no later than Monday at 12:00 PM. If your hours are submitted and approved on time, your salary will be paid on Wednesday or Thursday of the same week, depending on your bank and payment processing times.
Will I receive a Dutch employment contract?
Yes. We are a Dutch agency. Before your first working day, you should receive a contract outlining your position, salary, working hours, and employment conditions. Please be aware that if you do not send the documents we asked you for on time, your contract may be delayed. Our administration team needs 1 to 2 working days to process all documents in our system.
To avoid any delays, please make sure to submit all required documents before your starting date. You will receive a confirmation email with a list of the documents we need.
This usually includes:
- A picture of valid ID card or passport
- A driving licence (if required for the position)
- Your BSN number (Dutch citizen service number)
- Your IBAN bank account number
- Your home address
Don’t have a BSN yet?
If you do not have a BSN number, we will help you schedule an appointment with the rel-evant municipality to apply for one after your arrival in the Netherlands. Obtaining a BSN is required to work and receive your salary correctly.
What about my pension?
While working through Eming, you become enrolled in the StiPP pension scheme, the pension fund for employees in the Dutch temporary employment sector. If you meet the applicable conditions, pension contributions will be deducted automatically from your salary and paid into your StiPP pension account. This allows you to build up pension rights while working in the Netherlands.
What is ET (Extraterritorial Costs Scheme)?
The ET Scheme (Extraterritorial Costs Scheme) is a tax arrangement that may allow international employees to receive part of their salary as a tax-free reimbursement for expenses they have in their home country. This can result in a higher net salary.
To determine whether you are eligible, we need proof that you still have living expenses in your home country. You can provide a document showing costs at your registered home address in another country, such as:
- Rent or mortgage payment
- Electricity bill
- Water bill
- Gas bill
- Internet bill
- Other official household expenses
- The document must show: your name, note that document with partner’s (unless with proof of marriage) or family member’s name will not be accepted, your address outside the Netherlands, a recent date (max 3 months old)
5. Work clothing & tools
Do I receive work clothes?
Yes. Working clothes & shoes will be provided by Eming during your first working week.
Do I need to bring my own tools?
No. We always provide all tools (also electrical ones) if they are necessary for your job.
6. Sickness & Absence
How do I call in sick?
In case you are sick, call our administration before 9:00 in the morning (+31 55 785 3029). It is very important to follow this procedure correctly. Failure to report sickness correctly may affect administrative processing. Also please inform your account manager and the contact person at your workplace.
What should I do if I become sick during work?
Inform your supervisor immediately and contact your recruiter or coordinator. They will explain the next steps.
Do I need a doctor’s note?
In the Netherlands, employees are generally not required to provide a doctor’s note directly to their employer. Additional guidance will be provided if necessary.
What should I do if I need to see a doctor?
If you need medical assistance while working in the Netherlands, you should contact a general practitioner (GP), known in Dutch as a huisarts. The GP is usually your first point of contact for medical issues and can provide treatment, advice, or refer you to a specialist if necessary.
If you are staying in accommodation arranged through Eming and need help finding or contacting a doctor, please reach out to your account manager. We will be happy to assist you. You can also check medical institutions near you through the website of your health insurance provider- HollandZorg: HollandZorg zorgzoeker
In case of a medical emergency, always call 112. For urgent medical issues outside your doctor’s opening hours, you can contact the local GP emergency service (huisartsenpost).
7. Transport
Do you provide transportation to work?
Transportation arrangements depend on the project and location. In some cases, trans-portation between your accommodation and workplace is provided. For other projects, transportation may not be necessary because the accommodation is within walking or cycling distance of the workplace.
For certain positions, you may be required to drive between your accommodation and work. If a company vehicle is needed for the job, Eming can arrange a company car, pro-vided you have a valid driving license. Your recruiter will explain the transportation arrangements for your specific project be-fore you start work.
Do I use my own car or company car?
If you have a valid driving license and your own vehicle, using your own transport is what most of our employees do. In that case, you may be eligible for a travel allowance (kilome-ter reimbursement) in accordance with the applicable collective labour agreement (CAO).
If you do not have a car or a driving license, we can often arrange transportation to and from work. Depending on the project, this may be shared transport, accommodation within walking or cycling distance of the workplace, or a company car.
Transportation options, availability, and any applicable conditions depend on the spe-cific project and will be discussed with you before your start date.
Is travel reimbursement available?
This depends on the client and the applicable employment conditions.
